Service Provider

EchoTyping (echotyping.com) is operated by ECHOTYPING TECHNOLOGY LIMITED, a company incorporated in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. You can reach us at [email protected].

What We Provide and How It Is Delivered

EchoTyping is a web-based English listening and dictation practice service. It runs in your browser at echotyping.com; there is no application to download or install.

Paid access is delivered electronically and takes effect immediately once your payment succeeds. No physical goods are shipped.

Plans, Prices and Currency

We offer a monthly plan, an annual plan and a one-time lifetime plan. Prices are shown on the checkout page at the moment of purchase and include any applicable taxes. The price displayed at checkout is the price that applies to your purchase.

We may change our prices at any time. A change never affects a purchase you have already completed.

No Automatic Renewal

Every purchase is a single, one-off payment. We do not automatically renew your plan and we do not store your card details for future charges. When a monthly or annual plan expires, your account simply returns to the free tier and no further payment is taken.

Echo Beans

Echo Beans are a virtual item used only inside EchoTyping. They have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn, transferred, exchanged for money, or used outside the service.

Refunds and Cancellation

EchoTyping is digital content that is delivered and made available to you immediately upon payment. For this reason, purchases are not eligible for a no-questions-asked refund.

We do refund in the following cases:

• Duplicate charges, incorrect charges, or any amount taken in error. We refund the incorrect amount in full.

Outside these cases you may still write to us and explain your situation. We review such requests individually and may grant a refund at our discretion.

To request a refund, email [email protected] with your registered email address, the order number, the date and amount of the payment, and the reason for your request. We will respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method.

If a refund is issued, any Echo Beans granted with that purchase are removed from your account. If your balance is lower than the amount to be removed, the balance is set to zero.

Users Under 18

If you are under 18, you may use EchoTyping and make purchases only with the consent of a parent or guardian. If a purchase is made without that consent, the parent or guardian should contact us at [email protected] and we will review the situation individually.

Changes, Suspension and Termination

We may update, add to, or discontinue features of the service. We may suspend access temporarily for maintenance or upgrades; where a single suspension lasts 24 hours or more, we extend affected paid plans by an equivalent period.

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these Terms, including sharing, renting or reselling an account.

Complaints and Disputes

If something goes wrong, please write to [email protected]. We aim to acknowledge every complaint within 5 business days and to work with you directly towards a resolution.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any dispute arising from them is subject to the jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts.

Language

These Terms are published in several languages for your convenience. If there is any inconsistency between versions, the English version prevails.

User Content

All content you submit, upload, or otherwise make available to this service ("User Content") may be reviewed by our staff. User Content represents only the views of its author, and we are not responsible for user-generated content and accounts.

Please do not submit any content you consider private or confidential. You are entirely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content you submit.

Prohibited Content

You agree not to use this service to submit or link to:

• Defamatory, abusive, hateful, threatening, or spam content
• Adult or objectionable content
• Content containing personal information of others
• Content with copyright infringement risks
• Content encouraging illegal activity or violating laws

Content Management

We may remove or modify any user-submitted content at any time without notice. We may terminate your access to all or part of this service at any time without notice.

Content License

You grant us a non-exclusive, permanent, irrevocable, unlimited license to use, publish, or republish content you submit to this service. You retain copyright over your content.

Changes to Terms

These terms may change at any time without notice. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not register or use this service. Continued use of this service constitutes acceptance of these terms.
